Description

The book takes children back to the genesis of the artist's work, through water colours, sketches and preparatory drawings that he or she can extend or alter with coloured pencils or paint.
The book includes three works , Le Bateau de Larmes, Le Petit Théâtre de Peau d'âne and The Precious Stonewall, which lead kids into Othoniel's world. Children will enjoy being drawn into a 3D virtual adventure through the artist's work.
Jean-Michel Othoniel is a contemporary artist born in 1964. His work explores different mediums like drawing, sculpture, photography, writing, choreography or video. He recently made a work out of blown glass for the gardens of the Château de Versailles in 2014 - a special order that made him even more famous.
