Patrick Jouin - Espaces et objets | Exhibition catalogue
Patrick Jouin is a French designer born in 1967 in Nantes. He worked with Philippe Starck before setting up his own agency in 1998. This book is a sequence montage of trial pieces and images, conceived as a road movie linking slow periods, hesitations, ideas, desires and networks of images and encounters. It does not classify or list, neither by type nor date, but instead presents fragments and developing work, as well as sketches, notes, outlines, inviting the reader to "Zap" through a work in continual progress. Here is the story of ten years of an entrepreneurial and creative adventure.
