A major figure in world architecture, often considered a leader of the so-called "high tech" movement, the British architect Norman Foster (born in 1935 in Manchester) has signed many iconic projects around the world. Drawings, workbooks, models and prototypes provide an insight into a hundred or so projects, both in architecture and design. All of them testify to his global systemic understanding of nature and technology, reconciling technological progress with a sustainable ecological approach.
