Exhibition Francis Bacon

Description

Twenty years after Francis Bacon's last exhibition in Paris, Centre Pompidou invites you to discover a retrospective dedicated to the work of Francis Bacon from his exhibition in Grand Palais in 1971 to the end of his life in 1992.
Around sixty works are shown (including 12 main triptych), coming from the greatest international institutions such as MoMa, MET, TATE and private collections. These works, which are exhibited together for the first time, shine a light on the last part of the painter's career.
