Description
The catalogue presents 250 drawings by Tatiana Trouvé from 1990 to the present day, never before published together, and includes a text by Laura Hoptman, director of the New York Drawing Center, and an essay by Jean-Pierre Criqui, exhibition curator and art critic.
Invited by the Centre Pompidou o take over the eight hundred-odd square metres of Gallery 3, Tatiana Trouvé deploys a group of drawings - some previously unseen and specially made for the exhibition - enabling us to grasp all the richness of the architectural component at the root of the artist's artistic approach. Some sculptures and constructed elements complete this fantastical landscape where reality engages in infinite exchanges with its doubles
Winner of the 2007 Marcel Duchamp Prize, she is today a major figure on the international art scene and her works are presented in public and private collections including the Centre Pompidou, the Fondation Pinault, the MAMCO and the Fondation Louis Vuitton.
