Description

Under the direction of Clément Dirié, a specialist in the work, and Michel Gauthier, curator at the Centre Pompidou in charge of the exhibition, the richly illustrated book brings together French and international authors: Yve-Alain Bois, Jean-Pierre Criqui, Molly Warnock, Ann Hindry.
It gives an account of Martin Barré's different periods of creation and his essential contributions to contemporary painting, notably his aerosol spray paintings of the 1960s and his conception of pictorial space as a constantly renewed conceptual and visual playground.
