Description

Rafael Soto (1923-2005) is a Venezuelan artist who is well-known as a symbolic figure of the Op Art movement as well as for his geometrical paintings and constructions resorting to visual effects. Like Vasarely, Agam or Tinguely, Soto questioned the nature of the relationship between the viewer and the artwork through the creation of masterpieces which modify the space and the perception of the audience.
