Description

Organized in close collaboration with the Munch-Museet in Oslo, the exhibition "Edvard Munch, l'oeil moderne" displayed a selection of works rarely put on view.
In this album, discover a real dialogue between the pictorial work of the artist and his interest in modern forms of representation: photography, cinema, but also the revival of theatrical staging at the time . Often presented as a painter of the nineteenth century, symbolist and pre-expressionist, Munch is considered here as an artist of the twentieth century.
