Description

In connection with the exhibition "Elles font l'abstraction", presented from May to August 2021, the Centre Pompidou and the AWARE association (Archives of Women Artists, Research and Exhibitions) and the LEGS (Laboratoire d'études de genre et de sexualité - Paris 8 Vincennes Saint-Denis / Paris Nanterre), have organised an international colloquium on 19, 20 and 21 May 2021, with Adrienne Edwards, Briony Fer, Harmony Hammond and Griselda Pollock as special guests.

This issue of the Cahiers du MNAM, which is larger than the usual issues, presents 13 outstanding contributions by leading figures in the art world on the theme of women and abstraction.
