Biography of the author

Trained at the Central Saint Martins in London, Olivia Sautreuil became a graphic designer and illustrator for the press and publishing (Milan, Gallimard jeunesse...). Passionate about silk-screen printing, she creates her drawings on her press, in her studio in Brussels, or by taking inspiration from this technique. At Bayard, she illustrated ARTEMIS in the series of the feuilletons of mythology, Thor in the novel doc Mythology, or Bestioles, in early childhood...

Journalist, former head of the news department of VSD, she is also the great-niece of Germaine Richier. Laurence Durieu has been working on archives, interviews and writing about the artist since 2007. She is in contact with major national and international museums to promote her work. She is the author of a book and a documentary film on Germaine Richier.
