Description

Born in 1964 and trained as an anthroplogist, Valérie Jouve is a photographer on the young contemporary art scene in France whose work puts forward the drama of everyday life thanks to "acted" or "performed images", which decodes our society in an astonishing way. She has been exhibiting since 1995. Especially at the Xippas gallery in Paris since September 2006. For this project she went to Israel and it is the fruit of that work which is presented here.
